★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm shocked by the separate beach for man an women. Eventhough in Algeria, Maroco or Tunisia, I never saw a think like that. I can't swim with my wife today!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most disappointing beach I have been to, but I’ll try to be reasonable:
Downs:
-dirty water with oil, small pieces of plastic and plant parts
-separated for man and woman
-very uncomfortable bigger rocks, hard to walk or to lay down
-1 euro entrance fee (not sure for what)
-food or drinks only at the door, outside
Ups:
-it is a beach indeed
-plastic dining chairs free to use
-kind old Italian men to share space with
Locals seem to like it, not really for tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a turist I was shocked. It felt for me and my boyfriend like being separated to men and women in some concentration camp. What year is it ffs?! Maybe my mistake I haven't read recensions first but who would think of separation in 2020.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only 1€ for the entrance which makes this place the cheapest paid beach in Trieste. It’s devided. The women’s part is always overcrowded because kids usually go with mothers.
To go to the sea with little kids this place is great because it’s closed, they can’t escape to the street.
There is a bar and bathrooms, there shade areas and sunny.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entrance fee was 1€ per person when we visited in the middle of August. The beach is not too large so it can get crowded. However, we had a very pleasant experience as there weren't too many people. The sea is beautiful and very clear. The whole area is clean and the life guards make you feel very safe when it comes to your belongings or well-being. There is a little snack store where you can buy beverages, hot and cold food and other snacks for reasonable prices. Note that there are separate areas for men and women (and all children < 12). In the sea you can swim together along the border but the beach areas are strictly divided. So maybe not the best place for a family visit. All together a pleasant experience.
