★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Altamente negativa. Ho richiesto un lettino per concedermi qualche ora di relax . Volevano affittarmi ombrellone con 2 sdraio con un sovrapprezzo per un eventuale lettino. Ho fatto notate che ero sola, che erano le 15,00 che volevo solo fare un bagno di sole e riposare in riva al mare. Apriti cielo, un uomo anziano, presunto proprietario del bagno, notando il mio accento del nord, ha iniziato a inveire " No, no qui non siamo in quei postacci dell'Adriatico tipo Rimini o Riccione dove la gente é abituata a fare casino!" Sono rimasta ammutolita, una richiesta di un lettino per 3 ore pomeridiane in riva al mare si é trasformata in un volgare e becero insulto alla mia persona perché del nord Italia, a tutto i "rozzi turisti" e relativi operatori del settore dell'alto Adriatico. Incredibile! Povera Viareggio!!!
Highly negative. I requested a cot to allow me a few hours of relaxation. They wanted to rent me umbrella with 2 deckchairs with a surcharge for a possible sunbed. I pointed out that I was alone, that it was 15.00 that I just wanted to take a sun bath and rest by the sea. Open sky, an elderly man, presumed owner of the bathroom, noting my northern accent, started to rail "No, no, here we are not in those Adriatic braces like Rimini or Riccione where people are used to messing around!" I was dumbfounded, a request for a bed for 3 hours in the afternoon by the sea has turned into a vulgar and bitter insult to my person because of northern Italy, to all the "rough tourists" and related operators in the sector of the upper Adriatic . Unbelievable! Poor Viareggio !!!

Very kind staff, very clean beach. The restaurant / bar is also fairly priced with good dishes.

Lido well equipped with services and boardwalks, strange to see the children's playground and find no availability for a children's menu.
