★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing special per se, but if you have seen some episode of "il commissario montalbano" nice to see. Beach nearby with very transparent water (at the point close to the rocks where the tower stands)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is just as you see it in the tv series Montalbano. The view from the terrace is outstanding. It becomes busy at the peak but October is the perfect time to visit still hot with an azure sea perfect to swim in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is for punta Secca NOT the b and b as I did not stay there. (It was fully booked in early October) when the rest of the place had closed down! What a lost opportunity here. So many Italian visitors and nothing for them to buy! Enzo e mare was closed only scruffy local bars open, no shops or restuarants. A waste of time to visit unless you are total montalbano fan!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found it a nice zone worth a visit. The B&B was busy when we arrived. We decided then to come back and try again until we got disappointed by the tricky traffic light (local people said it is always red on purpose) treacherously located in place of a road sign indicating pedestrian zone. When you get out, mind the speed-checkers cunningly hidden by the local police where the speed limit is really low. The hefty fines can spoil the memories of the beach little pretty beach. So we are not coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing impressive unless you are a Montalbano fan. This is his private house in the commissario Montalbano tv series. The location is stunning, just near the water. If you are a fan, consider booking a room even if there isn’t really anything to visit in the town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We didn’t actually stay in the B and B, as it was under construction, but the town was exactly what you think it would be from watching Montalbano! There’s a lovely sea breeze and wonderful walks on the beach!
Probably a bit crazy in the summer, but on an early spring day it was awesome!
