Per quanto il servizio medico in Italia subisca continui tagli la presenza di posti quali le guardie mediche è cruciale, massimo rispetto per gli operatori del settore che contribuiscono nonostante le difficoltà a far andare avanti il servizio. Non ci sono cartelli con orari di apertura in evidenza se non un foglio attaccato su una porta sul retro. Al telefono risponde sempre il fax. Un passante per caso mi ha detto gli orari ma erano sbagliati quindi ci siamo presentati poco dopo la chiusura anche se l'ufficio era ancora aperto e dentro c'erano tre persone che chiacchieravano non curanti di noi. Quando abbiamo chiesto, il signore (non so chi fosse) ci ha interrotto subito dicendoci semplicemente che "non poteva" senza neanche chiederci cosa volessimo e invitandoci a tornare la settimana successiva ma senza garanzia che lo avremmo trovato. Per fortuna avevamo già portato la nostra trovatella da un veterinario vero per i controlli e avevamo solo bisogno del microchip altrimenti non so come avremmo fatto. La registreremo quando torneremo a Milano e speriamo di non aver mai più bisogno di un finto servizio come questo. The Anagrafe Canina office is the worst of the Italian comedy I've ever seen. There are no signs with opening hours in evidence except a sheet attached to a back door. The fax machine always answers. A passerby by chance told me the times but they were wrong so we showed up shortly after closing even though the office was still open and inside there were three people chatting carelessly about us. When we asked, the gentleman (I don't know who he was) immediately interrupted us by simply telling us that he "couldn't" without even asking us what we wanted and inviting us to return the following week but without guarantee that we would find him. Luckily we had already brought our foundling to a real vet for the checks and we just needed the microchip otherwise I don't know how we would do it. We will register it when we return to Milan and we hope we will never need a fake service like this again.
