★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Episodio molto spiacevole in quel di Vinitaly, totalmente ignorati durante un tentativo di degustazione. Siamo rimasti 10 minuti a 50 cm dal titolare che ha fatto finta di non vederci. Consiglio di dare attenzione a chiunque, senza distinzione, con educazione e cortesia che stanno alla base della civiltà.
 Very unpleasant episode at Vinitaly, totally ignored during a tasting attempt. We stayed 10 minutes at 50 cm from the owner who pretended not to see us. Council to pay attention to anyone, without distinction, with education and courtesy that are the basis of civilization.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Per motivi di storica amicizia col titolare di questa Azienda resto affettivamente legato a questo posto ed ai Suoi vini. Franco Scamperle né è l interprete fin dai primi anni 90 condividendo col padre Fulvio l attività, di lì a poco diventò titolare in tutti i sensi. I suoi vini sono franchi e schietti come lui e si distinguono per netta tipicità. Raffinato interprete dei vini freschi e giovani, ma eccellente per gli amarone grazie anche alla zona vocata dove coltiva ed affina le Sue uve.
Bravo e raccomandato.
For reasons of historical friendship with the owner of this company I remain emotionally connected with this place and its wines. Franco Scamperle has not been the interpreter since the early 90's, sharing the business with his father Fulvio, he soon became the owner in every sense. His wines are frank and straightforward like him and are distinguished by clear typicality. Refined interpreter of fresh and young wines, but excellent for the Amarone thanks also to the suitable area where he cultivates and refines his grapes.
Bravo and recommended.

High-level winery and one of the best in Valpolicella. The tasting service was excellent, the girl who served us was very well prepared and very competent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even after making an appointment, and showing up on time, they quite literally ignored us until we left. So I haven't tasted their wines - but I know that all the recommendations they display are from second rate guides and publications.
If you want real wine - 3 glasses in Gambero Rosso - go to David Sterza instead.
