★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho conosciuto Orfeo Petri e la sua mamma alla fiera dei Frutti Antichi, al Castello di Paderna, in provincia di Piacenza: evento che merita sempre, in uno scenario delizioso. Quando sono arrivata al loro banco, alcuni prodotti erano già andati a ruba, e bene così; ma un po' di cose ho fatto in tempo a prenderle, tra cui le celebri mele, sia fresche, sia essiccate, e il succo d'uva (che, si sa, è un dolcificante naturale strepitoso). Vi faccio i complimenti sia per la qualità, sia per la vostra disponibilità e cortesia. Siete gente di una volta!
 I met Orfeo Petri and his mother at the Ancient Fruits Fair, at the Paderna Castle, in the province of Piacenza: an event that always deserves, in a delightful setting. When I got to their counter, some products had already sold out, and that's good; but I managed to get a few things in time, including the famous apples, both fresh and dried, and grape juice (which, as we know, is an amazing natural sweetener). I congratulate you both for the quality and for your availability and courtesy. You are people of the past!
