Virna is a very active, intelligent and kind person. While letting me taste many kinds, he explained the specialized things to amateurs in an easy-to-understand manner. It was a great experience. I also found a fine wine from Borgogno in Eataly, Milan!

โ โ โ โ โ Very helpful owner took care of us. Very good Barolo wines from own winyards. As well some blended Barolo wines. Different qualities at different prices. Recommend to stop here for wine tasting and shopping!

โ โ โ โ โ We last bought here 18 years ago and loved the family's outstanding Barolos in the years to come. I returned very recently, by appointment . The welcome was every bit as warm and stylish as in 2001 and the tasting almost too generous. Signora Virna's big name Barolos are gorgeous and great value for money. Barolo is Italy's top wine. Virna and her sister run this exquisite Barolo winery as a family business, which is probably why it is so good and yet affordable. Long may it last, and visit while you can. I bought quite a lot but hope to be back before long. Don't forget to taste and buy some of their less famous wines: they are delicious too. Any expert will tell you that it is always the grower and producer who makes the difference. Virna's wines, all of them, are in my view as good as it gets.
One of my most enjoyable wine-buying experiences for quite a while. Mille grazie ancora per l'accolto.
