The Villa is located in a quaint town of Fregene, which is quiet and only 30 minutes away from bustling Rome!

The Accommodation was stunning and the location perfect. A very relaxing special place. Will definitely return to stay longer another time.
F	Frank on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Perfect location if you like to combine your city trip with the option to relax at the beach. Even if you don't fancy the beach, the beauty and quietness of Fregene is a nice escape from the busy Rome. Take the Bus from the main street in Fregene to the Maccarese train station. (Hard to find a bus schedule) but they run quite regular on weekdays. The owner, Mary Ellen offers great hospitality, I found her very nice, friendly and helpful. She knows how to make her guests feel comfortable. We had good tips for nice restaurants, and there are plenty of nice restaurants along the beach. and personally, I love her pets!.
D	Dayo Olopade on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This whole situation is sad and unprofessional. Mary Ellen is a lonely older woman hoping to make a few euros by renting her home to guests. The house is fine but the headache of managing her is really not worth your time. Don't make the same mistake. I sat on the sidewalk in the June sun with my 8 month old baby because she arrived 45 minutes late for check in. Imagine! We never got a key to the front gate-- meaning we were hostages the entire visit. There is a large, greedy, uncaged dog on premises -- stupidly barking at all hours. She isn't particularly professional or organized. For example, she doesn't answer her phone or email, insisted on cash payments and attempted to charge us extra per night for changed sheets and for cleaning. When I protested, she said 'this is Italy' (she is not Italian, a random Canadian pretending) and then actually threw away the dinner I had prepared for our group in her kitchen. An extended, ugly tantrum that nearly ruined our beach weekend. In the end I suggested she stop the bed and breakfast charade (the breakfast is quite bad and it's clear she's not suited for anything operational). I'm a very seasoned traveler -- this was a miss I regret.

Proprietress was very kind and she did everything for our happiness there. Every day there was tasty breakfast prepared for us according to our wishes :-) she tried to help us with everything we need, airport transfer taxi for good price including. She was really helpful also with advices about trips in region. Whole house is always kept in cleanliness. Our days was also dulcified with kind dog. Just we have there everything what we needed for nice holiday :-) thanks for all!
