★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tapirulan nasce nel 1994 tra i banchi del liceo scientifico Aselli di Cremona quando un gruppetto di studentelli sfaccendati decise di dare vita ad un giornale umoristico. La fine del liceo pose fine anche a quell’intensa esperienza editoriale. Ma nel 2004, per iniziativa dei vecchi redattori del giornale e con l’ingresso di nuove leve riprese l’attività fondando un’associazione culturale per promuovere e dare visibilità agli artisti contemporanei.
L’Associazione organizza esposizioni, mostre, concorsi di poesia, concorsi di illustrazione e narrativa. Tapirulan è anche casa editrice (Edizioni Tapirulan) e pubblica libri di racconti illustrati, libri di poesia e fotografie, il calendario degli illustratori. La maggior parte delle iniziative di Tapirulan sono documentate nella fotogallery e nella videoteca del sito. Ad aprile 2015 è stata aperta la nuova sede espositiva in corso XX Settembre 22 a Cremona, aperta tutti i giorni (tranne il lunedì) dalle 16 alle 19.
Tapirulan was born in 1994 among the stands of the Aselli high school in Cremona when a small group of lazy students decided to create a humorous newspaper. The end of high school also put an end to that intense editorial experience. But in 2004, on the initiative of the old editors of the newspaper and with the entry of new recruits, he resumed his activity by founding a cultural association to promote and give visibility to contemporary artists.
The Association organizes exhibitions, exhibitions, poetry contests, illustration and fiction competitions. Tapirulan is also a publishing house (Edizioni Tapirulan) and publishes illustrated story books, poetry books and photographs, the illustrators' calendar. Most of Tapirulan's initiatives are documented in the photogallery and in the video library of the site. In April 2015 the new exhibition venue in Corso XX Settembre 22 in Cremona was opened, open every day (except Mondays) from 16 to 19.

Full marks for the kindness, creativity and helpfulness of those who work there. We met Massimo Caccia and took home some of his prints. The idea behind Affiche, shown in the spaces of the association and spread around Cremona, deserves full marks. Long live treadmill.
