Gli operatori assistono con estrema attenzione e cura gli ospiti, nel pieno rispetto della dignità umana, operando per mantenere il più possibile le capacità cognitive e motorie degli utenti. Per quanto riguarda i tirocini, ci sono diversi punti sui quali si dovrebbe migliorare, ad esempio la scelta dei tutor, meglio se selezionati e mantenuti sempre quelli, piuttosto che tutor troppo frettolosi che difficilmente lasciano fare e tutor che vanno a fumare le sigarette e lasciarti lì a cercare dove sono andati, tutor arroganti o muti.
