Per come la penso io, quando vedi una persona con gli occhi che brillano mentre parla del suo lavoro hai fatto centro. E Raffaele Ferraro è così e, parlandogli - anzi, sentendolo parlare, visto che quando parte è un fiume in piena! - capisci che, dietro un lavoro, si nasconde - e nemmeno tanto - la passione di una vita. Durante la cerimonia Raffaele e il suo staff sono stati estremamente cortesi e garbati. Ho sempre detto a mia moglie, prima di sposarci, che le foto le avrei volute far fare a un amico per potergli dire di non dare fastidio, di non essere opprimente, come invece tante volte mi sono sembrati i fotografi in analoghe occasioni. Con Raffaele e i suoi ottimi collaboratori abbiamo trovato ciò che cercavamo! Pur essendoci, praticamente sempre e ovunque, con la delicatezza e la professionalità che li contraddistinguono hanno reso possibile vivere il momento come se dall'altro lato dell'obiettivo ci fosse un gruppo di amici, non di paparazzi! Alla fine di un momento indimenticabile, dopo il tempo necessario per assemblare il tutto e scegliere il meglio di ben oltre mille scatti, abbiamo ricevuto un piccolo grande capolavoro. Un album fotografico e un video montaggio che, come direbbe Raffaele, sono un perfetto equilibrio tra la bellezza artistica e l'esigenza di documentare fedelmente il più bel giorno di una vita. When, about two years ago, we started looking for a photographer for our wedding, we were struck by the grace and competence of Raffaele and his wife. As I think, when you see a person with eyes that shine while talking about his work, you hit the mark. And Raffaele Ferraro is like this and, speaking to him - or rather, hearing him speak, since when he leaves, it is a flooding river! - you understand that, behind a job, the passion of a lifetime is hidden - and not so much. During the ceremony Raffaele and his staff were extremely courteous and polite. Before getting married, I always told my wife that I would have liked to have the photos taken by a friend to be able to tell him not to bother, not to be overwhelming, as photographers on many occasions seemed to me on similar occasions. With Raffaele and his excellent collaborators we found what we were looking for! Although there are, practically always and everywhere, with the delicacy and professionalism that distinguish them, they made it possible to live the moment as if on the other side of the lens there was a group of friends, not paparazzi! At the end of an unforgettable moment, after the time necessary to assemble everything and choose the best of well over a thousand shots, we received a small great masterpiece. A photo album and a video montage which, as Raffaele would say, are a perfect balance between artistic beauty and the need to faithfully document the most beautiful day of a life.
