★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il parco si trova in un tranquillo quartiere dietro l'ospedale di Udine, è molto piacevole e ben attrezzato. Salvo l'occasionale rifiuto lasciato a terra, l'area è molto ben tenuta.
Gli alberi di questo parco furono piantati dalla mia prozia Vladimira Santi negli anni '60. Lei, pur sapendo che l'area sarebbe stata espropriata dal comune, decise lo stesso di curarlo per poi donarlo ai cittadini di Udine. La sua casa, contemporaneamente progettata seguendo i principi dell'architettura organica Wrightiana, si trovava a fianco al lotto. Negli ultimi mesi del 2020, la casa fu demolita per far spazio a un complesso residenziale. Da piccolo ho spesso frequentato quest'area che oggi è la memoria tangibile della mia cara prozia. Grazie zia per questa meravigliosa eredità che hai lasciato a tutti noi, verrai ricordata con infinito affetto.
The park is located in a quiet neighborhood behind the Udine hospital, it is very pleasant and well equipped. Except for the occasional litter left on the ground, the area is very well maintained.
The trees in this park were planted by my great-aunt Vladimira Santi in the 1960s. Although she knew that the area would be expropriated by the municipality, she decided to take care of it and then donate it to the citizens of Udine. His house, simultaneously designed following the principles of Wrightian organic architecture, was next to the lot. In the last months of 2020, the house was demolished to make way for a residential complex. As a child I often visited this area which today is the tangible memory of my dear great-aunt. Thank you aunt for this wonderful legacy that you left to us all, you will be remembered with infinite affection.
