Area sosta spartana ma direttamente sulla scogliera, le piazzole sono piccole ma è possibile usare la parte posteriore che risulta ombreggiata e fronte mare, docce fredde acqua non potabile mancano i bagni ma ogni camper ne è provvisto, spiagge bellissime, super affollata la “caraibica”di sinistra, praticamente vuota (luglio) quella di destra e la scogliera. Personale cordiale ed attento, ambulanti esterni fastidiosi e cari. Consigliato!

Posto STUPENDO, personale gentilissimo. L'area di sosta è molto spartana come tutta l'area circostante. Il Mare è un incanto, pulitissimo. Le signore che gestiscono l'area sono gentilissime. Un camper, due persone e la corrente 18 euro al giorno a settembre. Assolutamente da ripetere.

Posizione splendida. In agosto, come prevedibile, affollata ma i camper restano comunque ordinati e ci si può spostare agevolmente. Personale cordiale e accogliente. La pecca di qs posto è la mancanza di docce, bagni/toilette, seppur sopportabile dato che ogni camper ha il suo, assolutamente fastidiosa la mancanza di acqua potabile che rende obbligatorio arrivarci col serbatoio pieno e usarla solo x necessità. Purtroppo chiacchierando con i gestori, ci hanno detto che per problemi burocratici non riescono ad averla. Lontano da market o simili, solo alcuni ambulanti passano durante il giorno per pane, acqua o poco altro. Se non si hanno bici o meglio ancora uno scooter, si è bloccati lì... Il mare xò merita lo stesso una sosta.

Very basic camp. Quite and beautiful!

Beautiful place. But: no showers no toilettes, some rats runing around not only in daylight and moskytoes.

This equipped parking area hosted my family three days in July 2019. It is located in an exceptional place: right on the most extreme point of Punta Prosciutto where, as it is known, the sea is gorgeous. Two thirds of the rest area is therefore surrounded by the sea; the external pitches have a sea view. Access to the sea is very convenient: a few tens of seconds and you are in one of the most famous and beautiful beaches in Italy. The external pitches also have the advantage of being shaded (maritime pines) and cool even on the hottest days. One of the guests of the parking area, long-time camper and great connoisseur of Puglia, has told me that this is the only equipped parking area attached to the sea in all of Puglia. In his opinion it is the best ever. Indeed, I have never seen motorhome parking areas in Italy in such a valuable place from a naturalistic and tourist point of view. The parking area is definetly spartan: there are no services. The shower is cold and detergents are not allowed. It is located in the middle of the trees. Even if the water was cold, my children were used to have showers several times a day just for the beauty of the places. The electricity has only 2 amps and therefore it is not powerful enough to operate the fridge and the air conditioners (the connection costs € 2 / day). However, it must be said that even if there is not a toilet block, this was not experienced by my family as a big problem, since empting the toilet boxes of the campervan is very easy. Near the equipped parking area there are only two restaurants: one overlooking the Punta Prosciutto beach, and a second overlooking the bay of Torre Colimena (L'Ancora Ristorante Pizzeria). Near the parking area there are no supermarkets or bakeries or anything else for shopping. But this was not a problem given that during the day several local gentlemen came to sell bread, pizza and donuts, fruit, vegetables, water and beer, mozzarella, scamorza, etc. A gentleman also brought ready-made dishes such as stuffed cuttlefish, lasagna, etc.
