Consigliato. Parking area for campers not very large, but well maintained. It offers all the services. The manager is a good person, very helpful and nice. Clean and safe place. Advised.

È davvero un bellissimo posto! Very nice rest area, clean, excellent location. Very clean toilets ... but the real highlight is Genarino the manager ... very helpful person. It really is a beautiful place!

An area so simple but just as complete and close to a wonderfully welcoming pizzeria with its vintage owners who make you feel like "at grandparents' house". Abbiamo fatto un salto nel passato: qui si vive in uno stato di completa sicurezza, la gente non ti conosce eppure ti invita ad entrare in casa propria per bere qualcosa insieme; c'è una sola pizzeria dove forse abbiamo mangiato la migliore pizza ad oggi. E' un piccolo paese ma dove c'è tutto il necessario per poter vivere tranquilli e fare passeggiate tra i boschi sorseggiando l'acqua prelevata dalla fontana della salute. L'area di sosta è perfetta, tenuta in modo maniacale dal gestore, il carissimo Gennarino che trasmette una voglia di vivere senza eguali. E' veramente una persona che definirei "d'altri tempi". Ti aiuta, qualsiasi sia il tuo problema, fa da guida e ti fa scoprire particolari di Fardella che altrimenti non noteresti. Abbiamo visitato anche, grazie sempre a Gennarino, la casa dei raskatielli, un borgo, un B&B, un'azienda il cui titolare è altrettanto gentile e disponibile. L'area sosta è su prato, con fornitura di energia elettrica c/s acqua e servizi igienici super puliti. Docce calde. Ci ritorneremo prestissimo. We spent the we in Fardella, driven by the curiosity to understand how one can live in a town of only 450 inhabitants. We took a leap into the past: here you live in a state of complete safety, people do not know you and yet they invite you to come into their homes to have a drink together; there is only one pizzeria where we have perhaps eaten the best pizza to date. It is a small town but where there is everything you need to be able to live peacefully and take walks in the woods while sipping water taken from the fountain of health. The rest area is perfect, maniacally maintained by the manager, the dear Gennarino who transmits an unparalleled desire to live. He is truly a person that I would define as "from other times". It helps you, whatever your problem, acts as a guide and makes you discover details of Fardella that you would not otherwise notice. We also visited, thanks again to Gennarino, the house of the raskatielli, a village, a B&B, a company whose owner is equally kind and helpful. The parking area is on the lawn, with electricity supply with water and super clean toilets. Hot showers. We will be back very soon.

Fardella è un il posto ideale per un sosta di relax, ma anche punto di appoggio per girare le zone circostanti. Si mangia benissimo alla pizzeria Novecento, noi abbiamo ordinato una tagliata di carne spettacolare servita su una piastra rovente per una cottura a proprio piacimento. E infine.... Gennarino, il gestore dell'area sosta.. Le migliori recensioni non gli fanno comunque giustizia!! Persona fantastica! A Pasqua ha regalato le uova di Pasqua a tutti i bambini presenti nell'area sosta. Un motivo per ritornare è proprio la gente del posto.. Grazie Gennarino dal gruppo di Brindisi! Fardella is an ideal place for a relaxing stop, but also a base for touring the surrounding areas. You eat very well at the Novecento pizzeria, we ordered a spectacular cut of meat served on a hot plate for cooking to your liking. And finally .... Gennarino, the manager of the rest area .. The best reviews do not do it justice anyway! Fantastic person! At Easter he gave Easter eggs to all the children present in the rest area. One reason to return is the locals. Un area sosta semplice ma con tutto quello che serve, Gennarino, il gestore, è una di quelle persone che con la sua semplicità riesce a metterti subito a tuo agio ma soprattutto si mette completamente a disposizione dei suo ospiti e questo non è da poco. Fardella è un piccolo paese sulle colline Lucane, ma è veramente l'essenza di una regione che non smette mai di stupire per la sua bellezza, ma soprattutto per i suoi abitanti, che ho avuto l'onore e il piacere di conoscere in un unica serata che sono rimasto li. Un piccola comunità che diventa una grande famiglia tra un buon bicchiere di vino e quattro chiacchiere tra paesani, insomma un posto che appena te ne vai, già ne senti la mancanza! Spero di tornarci presto e invito chiunque passi da queste parti a fermarsi almeno un giorno in questo bellissimo posto.
