A beautiful garden where your children can have fun. Now they have added new games and I am sure the children will be happy in this place.

Un posto meraviglioso, per le storie che può raccontare e per le emozioni che fa vivere. Rinnovato da poco, ha acquistato una seconda giovinezza: un piccolo adventure park sotto un gioco di luci e ombre.

Realizzata su richiesta del signor Carlo Centoni, primo proprietario dell'omonimo bar situato nell'isolato attiguo al parco, è stata al centro di una riqualificazione, durante il periodo primaverile/estivo del 2019, al fine di aumentarne la metratura (originariamente era molto più piccola) e offrire nuovi giochi ai bambini.
Benché sia situata all'interno del sottoquartiere Regio Parco, l'area gioco di piazza Sofia è l'esempio di come l'integrazione, tra persone di cultura e nazionalità differenti, sia un valore aggiunto all'interno del quartiere Barriera di Milano (oltre che nella stessa città di Torino): vedere dei bambini giocare e socializzare, senza fare distinzioni, ci ricorda come gli adulti debbano prendere esempio da loro e smetterla di farsi la guerra a vicenda.
La mia valutazione è di quattro stelle: un'area gioco è sicuramente un modo di riqualificare il quartiere, purché si tuteli a dovere... troppo spesso, l'area è usata come posto per fare camping e la recente soppressione della linea 18 ha fatto sì che restasse allo scoperto e troppo isolata.
L'area gioco di piazza Sofia è raggiungibile con le linee 8, 19N, 27, 49, 57 e 62.
Play area located at the entrance to the Confluence Park, next to the terminus of the former line 18.
Built at the request of Mr. Carlo Centoni, the first owner of the homonymous bar located in the block adjacent to the park, it was at the center of a redevelopment, during the spring / summer period of 2019, in order to increase its size (originally it was much more small) and offer new games to children.
Although located within the Regio Parco sub-district, the play area in Piazza Sofia is an example of how the integration, between people of different cultures and nationalities, is an added value within the Barriera district of Milan (beyond than in the city of Turin): seeing children playing and socializing, without making distinctions, reminds us how adults must take an example from them and stop waging war on each other.
My rating is four stars: a play area is definitely a way of redeveloping the neighborhood, as long as it is properly protected ... too often, the area is used as a place for camping and the recent suppression of line 18 has caused it to remain in the open and too isolated.
The Piazza Sofia play area can be reached with lines 8, 19N, 27, 49, 57 and 62.
