The Cathedral of Reggio Calabria is a place to visit absolutely. Afterwards you cannot miss a stop at the Diocesan Museum, well managed and rich in history to immerse yourself in a journey to rediscover the faith.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La cattedrale ha un suo fascino e solennità che coinvolgono il visitatore. Molto grande , credo sia la Cattedrale con piu' ampia superficie della Calabria. Molto belle e di eccellente fattura le due statue in marmo poste sul sagrato. Ciò che non si capisce è perché la chiesa non venga più illuminata sulla facciata da un paio di lampade alogene poste sulla antistante piazza, di recente ristrutturata. E' molto brutto e triste nelle ore serali intravedere la Cattedrale nell'oscurità dell'ambiente. Credo che la Diocesi si dovrebbe attivare con l'amministrazione comunale per "pretendere" ciò che spontaneamente dalla stessa non viene posto in essere come dovrebbe! Il consumo di energia elettrica di due lampade credo sia ridicolmente irrisorio, e comunque si parla pur sempre di un sito monumentale che dà lustro alla città.
The cathedral has its own charm and solemnity that involve the visitor. Very large, I think it is the Cathedral with the largest surface in Calabria. The two marble statues placed in the parvis are very beautiful and of excellent workmanship. What is not clear is why the church is no longer illuminated on the façade by a couple of halogen lamps placed on the square in front, recently renovated. It is very ugly and sad in the evening hours to glimpse the Cathedral in the darkness of the environment. I believe that the Diocese should be activated with the municipal administration to "demand" that which spontaneously does not come into being as it should! I think the electricity consumption of two lamps is ridiculously ridiculous, and in any case we are still talking about a monumental site that gives prestige to the city.
