★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THIS RESTAURANT DISCRIMINATES AGAINST AMERICANS UNDER THE GUISE OF COVID. I am a vaccinated American traveling abroad in Sicily. I was recommended to try this pizzeria and I am WOEFULLY SORRY that I did. I called to make a reservation (in fluent Italian) and was NEVER informed by any staff that I would need to present vaccination documentation, despite carrying it with me at all times because of occasional documentation checks. On arriving to the restaurant, we were asking to provide vaccination documentation. Both I and my fellow American traveler, as well as my Sicilian relative, all provided valid documentation. The server proceed to turn us away because our American documents could not be validated. When we tried to reason with them, the manager (finally) let us in, but forced us to sit outside like we were lepers. When we asked to use the bathroom, we were refused on the basis that we were a "health risk." Furthermore, the pizza was horrible; I have had delivery from Papa Johns and Pizza Hut better than the trash we were served. BOTTOM LINE: IF YOU ARE AMERICAN, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great pizzas! You have a lot of choises to choose from. We ordered a "manfria" pizza (with zucchini flowers and fresh mozzarella), a "caposoprano" pizza (with ham, nuts and fresh mozzarella) and a "misto fritto" as a starter. Quick service and friendly staff! Probably it's a pet frienldy shop, since someone had his small dog under the table in its pillow bed. A bit further from the city centre, but you can also go on foot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the great pizza place. All pizzas are tasty but the best for me was the pizza with pistachio pesto and mozzarella burrata. You should either come early or reserve the table. It is very popular.
