Si può fare solo un giro panoramico al castello. Andrebbe segnalato su Google, SOPRATTUTTO PER CHI VIENE DA LONTANO. The museum is closed for renovation and is not well signposted for extraordinary events and openings. You can only take a panoramic tour of the castle. It should be reported on Google, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WHO COME FROM FAR.

Rappresentano una delle più alte testimonianze della cultura protostorica italica. La loro "scoperta" risale agli anni '60 e, non essendoci decorazioni nella parte inferiore delle lastre, si pensa che esse venissero infisse nel terreno e che fungessero da segnacolo funerario, si suppone che le stele, fatte di pietra calcarea ricavata dalle vicine cave garganiche, venissero lavorate localmente. Di più difficile interpretazione, invece è l'origine delle immagini e i contenuti espressi. The daisy steles The real attraction of the Museum of Manfredonia are the famous stele daunas. They represent one of the highest testimonies of Italic proto-historic culture. Their "discovery" dates back to the 1960s and, as there are no decorations in the lower part of the slabs, it is thought that they were stuck in the ground and that they served as funerary signs, it is assumed that the steles, made of limestone obtained from the nearby quarries Gargano, they were worked locally. The origin of the images and the contents expressed is more difficult to interpret.

Uomini del rame) e l’altra all’età del Bronzo (Metropoli dell’età del bronzo). Al piano terra l’esposizione si articola in altre due sale dedicate alla civiltà dei Dauni. La sala La Terra del Re Straniero, resa fruibile in anteprima in questa fase di apertura parziale del museo, illustra i reperti provenienti dai contesti funerari dei principali centri della Puglia settentrionale abitati in età preromana dai Dauni.La sezione Pagine di Pietra e il deposito a vista della Torre della Polveriera sono dedicate alle stele daunie, la più originale manifestazione culturale della civiltà indigena.
