We were so lucky to have Andrea photograph our destination wedding. From the beginning, working with him was a pleasure. He is very professional, responsive, and transaction was hassle free. He showed up to the venue early and immediately engaged with the groom and the guests, seamlessly integrating with the guests and also capturing great moments of our day. His photos were a perfect combination of the setting, the small details (homemade gnocchi!) of our day, the candid moments with guests, and the more traditional poses of our wedding. Andrea has a wonderful way of framing his photos to capture the most of every moment, putting the sun or the light in the right spots around the person, using the archways of a door to anchor the shot, etc. The results were truly amazing and we couldn't be happier!

I cannot even begin to express the gratitude & happiness I feel, as well as the magic that this experience became. Having the Andrea's capture the moment I proposed to my beautiful fiancée has exceeded all expectations one could have. I researched a lot of photographers around Italy, spoke with a few, knowing that I was going to propose on the island of Capri in the Giardini di Augusto. I chose Andrea's company because I appreciated the honest and upfront pricing. I also appreciated that it was a la carte as well where I was able to select the services that I wanted. The amount of options they give you are plenty! I was very impressed with their portfolio, and their blog shows the many beautiful moments they captured. The communication throughout was great, even with our time zone differences, myself living in Seattle, WA and Andrea in Italy, communication was easy. I told him exactly what I wanted, the time and place, etc. and it felt like no pressure at all, he was very warm, kind, and professional throughout. The day of... I reached out to Andrea, I of course am nervous but he and the other Andrea were already on Capri, scoping out the gardens for the best place to propose as well as formulating a plan for our engagement photos after. He even sent me a picture of the spot and where to have my fiancée stand. We had a signal for when we entered the garden so that he could secretly guide me to the exact location! The moment comes and they captured it beautifully! She had no idea they were there recording and photographing us in the moment. The ensuing photo shoot was just amazing. They took us to several locations throughout the island. They were both so warm and kind throughout the whole process as they guided us and captured these magical moments that will be treasures for a lifetime. The video service is beyond words, the finished product is a treasure to keep always. You will be so happy with choosing Andrea Matone Photography! Thank you both for this lifetime of memories!

I connected with Andrea during my Rome vacation back in August of this year to help carry out my proposal. I was impressed by his level of professionalism and flexibility when making a final decision. Andrea not only took amazing photos, but he also helped me with my unique requests that were continually being changed at the last minute. The proposal went better than I could have imagined thanks to the combination of his expert photography and ability to think on his feet when incorporating unique scenic angles. Also, all of the photos from my proposal were lost when my hard drive unexpectedly crashed. Luckily Andrea was able to resend all of the pictures, months later. We are so glad to have booked Andrea for a post wedding photoshoot in Rome and Vatican City. He was very responsive with answering my questions and was very helpful with proposing an itinerary so that we can cover multiple locations efficiently on the day of the shoot. He knows all the spots to take great pictures while avoiding as much bystanders in the background as possible. He was professional, easy-going, and made the whole experience fun and relaxing. We enjoyed the session so much that we decided to extend for an additional hour! Having car service was extremely helpful as well!

Andrea Matone studios was found by my fiancé to arrive to the island of Capri and incognito capture his surprise proposal. Andrea & Andrea could not have captured and created more of a dream for our family and future memories than they did. Arriving all the way from Rome to the Island, they scoped out the best vantage to capture the proposal in advance and were waiting at the appointed place: and both managed to capture not only the most touching photos, but the most magical video (with music, polished editing and all). The photos and video were such high quality that we were blown away. They both guided us though taking photos and getting video footage including showing photos of poses (as not everyone is expert, haha) and just were so kind, gracious and professional. The edited photos are beyond stunning and I cannot thank them enough for being the wonderful professionals they are.

Andrea was absolutely amazing. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Andrea for a surprise proposal photoshoot in Positano. I had planned this proposal for about 2 years ago but was unable to due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From my initial inquiry with Andrea, he was nothing but professional, kind, honest and thorough. That's before even seeing his work, he is a super talented photographer and just an amazing, kind person. We started by setting up a phone conversation on whatsapp, which was convenient for international calls. From the first phone call, Andrea was super helpful and kind in helping me choose the best time and location for shooting. He was also very honest, as he gave me his professional opinion on the two locations I had considered: Positano and Ravello. Also, my fiance and I are both vaccinated but required a negative COVID test to gain entry to Italy. Andrea was extremely flexible with the schedule as we had to contend with COVID testing and also the weather. We remained in contact up to the moment before the surprise proposal. In terms of the actual shoot, Andrea was amazing. He had arrived at the location early and scouted the area to get the best photos. Andrea also did an amazing job at keeping the surprise a surprise. As I walked with my soon to be fiance toward the meeting point next to Spiaggia Grande, we acknowledged each other by rubbing our ears. My soon to be fiance had no idea. Once we had acknowledged each other, Andrea led me to the perfect location. He stopped intermittently to take photos, acting like a tourist, so that my fiance had no idea. Once we arrived at the perfect location on Spiaggia Grande, he again rubbed his ear, signaling that he was ready and I could propose. He captured the initial surprise photograph, which was amazing, then we acknowledged each other and the rest of the photoshoot was absolutely perfect. I've never been one to take photos of myself, so when Andrea had ideas of poses and locations, I was extremely happy. Also, Andrea brought his most trusted assistant, his 11 year old daughter, Matilde, who was amazing. For her age, she is extremely intelligent and kind. She is a wonderful reflection of Andrea. I had planned this proposal for a long time and it turned out exactly the way I had envisioned it. And for that, I can never thank Andrea and Matilde enough. He is simply the best and I would strongly recommend him to anyone for any photography needs. Not simply because of his artistic skills, but he is also a genuinely awesome person.
