★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware the taxis that operate to and from Ancona Port. They do not use their meters. We were charged €15 for a 500 metre ride on one occasion, and the same again fir a shirt ride from the railway station -a complete racket.
Also the check-in for the ferries that leave from this port is 2.9 kilometres away @ 43.612384, 13.499809

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bring lots of time with you, since they have no organisation at all and don't know what they're doing. Two hours in front of the harbour as they only have one pilot to guide the ships is an complete and utter joke anduand for ferry ships who arrive here twice a week at minimum. We lost at least three hours with their lack of organisation and now have to drive at night instead of arriving safely at home in daylight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The road to it full of potholes after leaving the autostrada.. The bridge is unbelievable..... ?
Not enough parking space for the check in. Very chaotic process to get inside and the waiting lines don't make any sense at all.
The Stewarts don't help at all....they speak only Italian and they aren't friendly.
