Francesco is the kindest and most hospitable person that can be.
He is making very high quality olive oil with passion and he explains his production with great passion and care.
His place is absolutely beautiful. Be prepared to be treated like a king, or even better. like a friend.
I recommend it absolutely. It is just fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amodeo Farm is an amazing experience. We arrived without an appointment on August 1, 2018 and discovered it was closed. We called the number listed and Francesco Amodeo answered the phone. He graciously agreed to come up and meet us. When he got there, he was not only very welcoming but he spent about 2.5 hours with us showing us the olive trees, explaining how the whole process works to creat Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and we did an olive oil tasting. Listening to him and hanging out with him was a great experience.
He then walked us into the tasting room, which was his Grandfather’s country house. The furnishings inside are amazing and the atmosphere is incredible. He walked us through each step of how to properly taste olive oil. Showed us the chart of the tastes that we should experience as we “experience” the olive oil.
We learned some incredible things about the harvesting, the pressing and the tasting of olive oil. Francesco was an amazing host and we were so thankful he took the time to give us an amazing experience. This is a beautiful place with an awesome host and it is a stop I highly recommend.

Frank was a wonderful host, teaching with passion and details the art of producing the finest Olive Oil and how to fully enjoy it.

Will never look at olive oil the same way anymore that is for sure and we look forward to ordering some from here once this years harvest is complete. We learnt lots about the process of making exceptionally good olive oil. The food and wine was fantastic! If you want authentic, genuine Sicilian hospitality, this is the place. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic experience learning about olive oil and the blood, sweat and tears that go into every single bottle. We enjoyed an amazing lunch set up by Frank himself and then went for a stroll through the olive grove whilst learning all about the harvesting and production processes.
If you’re in Sicily it’s a no brainer to visit Frank and his team at Amodeo’s. An experience that will last a lifetime ??
