Senza ombra di dubbio il must dell'American Bar sono le granite. Granite di tutti i gusti, dalla classica al limone, si va a quella di gelsi neri......eccezionale!!!!.....passando per il cioccolato, poi quella alla mandorla, pistacchio etc etc!!!! che è possibile accompagnare con brioche deliziose. Personale sempre cortese e disponibile. BRAVI ragazzi continuate cosi'. Locale consigliatissimo!!!!! "Historic" Bar in Licata which has always been family-run, before the parents now it is the children who continue the "tradition". Without a doubt, the must of the American Bar are the slushes. Granite of all tastes, from the classic lemon, we go to that of black mulberries ...... exceptional !!!! ..... passing through the chocolate, then the one with almond, pistachio etc etc !!! ! which can be served with delicious croissants. Staff always courteous and helpful. GOOD guys keep it up. Highly recommended place !!!!!

Unica nota il personale non è proprio chiacchierone. Sicuramente un posto validissimo Very nice place in the center of licata they make a very good granita I chose the fantastic pistachio. Chapeu! A crazy granita in the center of Licata. Excellent quality of granitas and brioches, refinement of local ingredients, and particularly interesting combinations bring this bar to the levels of the best Sicilian artisan pastry shops and ice cream parlors. Il caffè viene accompagnato da deliziosi croissant prodotti dalla pasticceria Leone. Io ne ho assaggiato uno ripieno di crema pasticcera e ricoperto da una spolverata di zucchero a velo. Era molto buono e sono stata sorpresa dalle sue dimensioni. Si può fare colazione all'aperto ai tavoli posti lungo il viale alberato. Il personale è molto gentile e cortese. Il bar risale agli anni sessanta e adesso i figli del proprietario continuano a gestirlo. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Le decorazioni all' interno del bar permettono di vivere l' atmosfera natalizia. The American Bar in Licata, a stone's throw from Piazza Progresso, along Corso Roma, allows you to have breakfast in a very pleasant way, after having admired the liberty style architectural façade of the city building. The coffee is accompanied by delicious croissants produced by the Leone pastry shop. I tasted one filled with custard and covered with a sprinkling of icing sugar. It tasted very good and I was surprised at its size. You can have breakfast outside at the tables located along the tree-lined avenue. The staff are very polite and courteous. The bar dates back to the 1960s and now the owner's children continue to run it. Excellent quality-price relation. The decorations inside the bar allow you to experience the Christmas atmosphere.
