★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were with kids and it was late, 25 mins to closing. Owner was accommodating and he made basil and tomato pasta for my kiddos. The food was good at such a late night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go without thinking! we ate very well, we ordered a "primo piato" and then a "seccondo" typical Italian lunch, we also drank house wine (Primitivo) which is very tasty and "va giu da se" The service was wonderful! The restaurant is to be congratulated !! they have a dessert that I do not remember the name, but it is an ice cream with a chocolate in the middle. SUPER RECOMMEND! and send a "saluto" to the waitress “Shirley" she is adorable! Note: the value was well below the normal average for Italy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there with my partner and the food was so nice, freshly made and tasty. Prices are fare and all though we could not communicate so well with the staff they offered us a menu in English and did try their best to understand us. Quiet little place to get away from the crowds and a short walk from metro policlinica.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never have I ever seen 1 chef, alone, cook a whole bunch of dishes- 8 to be precise. I saw him sweating , but the result was absolutely remarkable. Not just that, it was one of the best pesto pasta I've ever eaten. It was so delicious and flavourful. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Perfect. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Of you’re looking for real authentic Calabrian cuisine in Rome the L’Ambasciata Calabrese is the place.
All food is prepared from scratch with authentic artisan products from Calabria. The wine is also very good quality everything from the South of Italy.
This place cannot be a miss when in Rome, is a little piece of the South in Rome.
They also do aperitivo nights that are amazing!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Risotto shrimps and licorice: very good and tasty! I do not recommend if you don’t like licorice though.
Pasta shrimps and parsley: very good!!!!
Both plates were big and the chef was the only person cooking for us. It took a little while but at least it’s homemade and local!!
