Raggiungibile in m-bike, con un po' di sforzo, ma se possedete una e-bike allora la passeggiata sarà piacevolissima. Non è gratis naturalmente nemmeno con e-bike, ma fattibile per tutti. Ristorante con piatti tipici di montagna. Riservare, è sempre affollato soprattutto nel we Spectacular view from the terrace of the refuge, starting point for walks for all levels. T	*Travelsbeer. com andrea** on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ecco un’altra salita fattibile da un solo versante: l’Alpe Pradecolo! L’inizio della salita è a Luino: nei primi 7 km la salita non è ostica, e si passa per il comune di Dumenza. Poco dopo l’abitato di Due Cossani si lascia la provinciale della val dumentina e si gira a destra verso l’Alpe Pradecolo. Gli ultimi 6,5 km sono veramente impegnativi: la pendenza media è del 9,5%, e non mancano i muri al 14%! Ci sono molte curve, che aiutano a ‘rilassarsi’ un attimo. La strada è quasi sempre ombreggiata, ed in cima si arriva al Rifugio Campiglio: è aperto tutti i giorni tranne il martedì, anche d’inverno (a parte una pausa di un mese da fine ottobre). La vista del lago Maggiore dal rifugio vale la fatica: è anche possibile ammirare il Monte Rosa in tutta la sua bellezza! Sempre lungo la val dumentina c’è un’altra salita durissima: l’alpone di Curiglia, con pendenze simili a quelle del Muro di Sormano! Here is another climb feasible from one side only: Alpe Pradecolo! The start of the climb is in Luino: in the first 7 km the climb is not difficult, and you pass through the town of Dumenza. Shortly after the town of Due Cossani, you leave the provincial road of Val Dumentina and turn right towards Alpe Pradecolo. The last 6.5 km are really demanding: the average gradient is 9.5%, and there is no shortage of walls at 14%! There are many curves, which help to 'relax' for a moment. The road is almost always shaded, and at the top you arrive at the Campiglio Refuge: it is open every day except Tuesday, even in winter (apart from a one-month break from the end of October). The view of Lake Maggiore from the refuge is worth the effort: it is also possible to admire Monte Rosa in all its beauty! Also along the Val Dumentina there is another very hard climb: the Curiglia alpone, with slopes similar to those of the Sormano Wall!

Con buon innevamento si possono trovare degli ottimi itinerari per le ciaspole. Consigliato soprattutto nel periodo autunnale e nei mesi delle fioriture.
