★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A park high up in the mountain in Erba. At this time, there's barely anybody at the park. It is very nice to finally find a park where barbecue is allowed in Italy. Many people park their car here to go higher up to the rifugio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place to take a big picknick into the nature and enjoying the peace of the mountain. From there there is a path to go up untill monte bollettone and down untill Como lake... One of the most beautiful trekking path of Italy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I parked here for a half a day climb to Monte Palanzone, one of the main peaks of the area. On weekends the parking area is often crowded, so it is a good idea to arrive earlier (7-8 am).
Guarded all the day (but i am not sure if also during weekdays).

Our five year old was able to walk up and down on his own two feet, it was a good way to use up some of his energy :)
