Personale attento alle esigenze della clientela. Bagni in ordine e posteggio auto in prossimità dell locale. Historic restaurant of Val Brembana offering typical dishes of the area. Excellent baked pork shank and rabbit with taragna polenta. Moderate prices. Staff attentive to customer needs. Tidy bathrooms and car park near the restaurant.

Questa storica trattoria, un tempo sosta imprescindibile di carrettieri cavalli e carretti, ha almeno 400 anni e ha mantenuto le caratteristiche del rinnovo di un secolo fa. Visitate le salette (gli affreschi residui), l’esterno con la fonte (nella foto) e soprattutto il grande camino antico. Alle pareti tante incredibili foto della Valle dell’Olmo che fu e atmosfera di montagna e alpinismo (di qui sono passati Bonatti, Camerlander, Simone Moro, Manolo, Tomo Česen e Ines Bosick, Oreste del Forno, Cosimo Zappelli, Casarotto, Alberto Re, Miki Oprandi e tanti altri). ‘La Salute”, come si dice qui, vi tuffa nel mondo di ieri, nella semplicità e nel piacere di una ristorazione popolare ormai scomparsa, fagocitata dall’insopportabile food-marketing che sta rovinando cultura, tradizione, prodotti, cucina e paese. Sapori dell’Altobrembo e i migliori funghi della valle. Restaurant - Della Salute Hotel, Olmo al Brembo bg. ? it is always a pleasure. This historic trattoria, once an essential stop for carters, horses and carts, is at least 400 years old and has maintained the characteristics of the renovation of a century ago. Mangiato la classica polenta. Ottima. Il titolare ci ha intrattenuto con racconti della sua infanzia. Prezzi più che onesti. Ristorante consigliato, rapporto qualità prezzo buono. Eravamo in 4 e abbiamo mangiato tutto quello che si vede nelle foto che allego + dolce, caffè e grappa a sole 35 euro a testa. Esperienza gastronomica e gita fuori porta da ripetere. Wonderful place, environment preserved as it once was. Super friendly staff and fantastic food. There were 4 of us and we ate everything you see in the photos that I enclose + dessert, coffee and grappa for only 35 euros each. Gastronomic experience and trip out of town to be repeated.
