★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the "secret" places of the Milanese "Aperitivo" (happy hour), the pre-dinner drink which comes with a buffet dinner of its own :-)
The offering of Il Tempio d'Oro during their happy hour is quite good and extensive, can happily substitute dinner, and the drinks and beers are all good and not terribly expensive.
Outside buffet hours, the menu is still very good, but not that cheap.
The place is very informal/"alternative" style, and can accomodate groups, maybe not extremely large ones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small place located in Milan Nolo district, offers a very good "aperitivo" with the happy hour discount formula. It means that between 18:30 and 20:00 you can have a drink (cocktails and beers) and taste as much as you like of the very good menu of the pub for free. The kitchen is homemade and includes both Italian and ethnic dishes. Suitable for veggy people also. A very good choice for a drink, very close to one the coolest Design Week exhibition areas. It worth a visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's really good place to go for an Aperitivo. They have good variety of snacks and the Spritz was just perfect. Price is very moderate. In comparison to many expensive places for Aperitivo in Milan that I visited, this place is good option.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrifying experience. We ordered a "piatto unico" for 15 euro, there was some rice with some sauce on the side, as other reviewers said. We complained to the server, who reported to the chief. The chief didn't even bother to stand up to listen to our complaints. We ended up paying and he did not even say goodbye. The first and the last time I show up at this poor establishment.
