Io ho mangiato qui qualche tempo fa, con un menù diverso, che presentava, tra le varie cose, il pollo più sbalorditivo della mia vita. Quando una persona pensa ad un pollo gli viene in mente un qualcosa facile da cucinare e dal gusto conosciuto, ma il modo in cui mi fu preparato quel pasto gourmet mi ha lasciato a bocca aperta. Davvero tutto ottimo, anche i dolci (con gusti sempre ricercati) e il servizio: camerieri preparatissimi e pronti alle domande. I ate here a while ago, with a different menu, which featured, among other things, the most jaw-dropping chicken of my life. When a person thinks of a chicken they think of something that is easy to cook and has a known taste, but the way that gourmet meal was prepared for me left me speechless. All really excellent, even the desserts (with always refined tastes) and the service: very well prepared waiters ready for questions.

Buonissimi per noi l’uovo cotto a 65’ al tartufo, I tortelloni con le fave e sopratutto gli strangozzi con pistacchio e tartufo (i migliori che mi sia capitato di mangiare in Umbria). Personale gentilissimo e una buona carta dei vini. Raccomandato venire a Montefalco anche solo per mangiare qui, non ve ne pentirete We ate very well "also" as vegetarians. For us, the egg cooked at 65 'with truffles, the tortelloni with broad beans and especially the strangozzi with pistachio and truffle (the best I've ever eaten in Umbria) are delicious. Le pietanze arrivano fragranti al naso e piacevoli all'occhio, si confermano infine appaganti al gusto. La quantità è giusta, ne poca ne troppa; su richiesta la singola porzione arriverà già divisa per 2 commensali. La carta dei vini è ricca. I dolci sono buoni e fatti in casa. Il bagno è pulito, arredato con un occhio al passato, un animo divertito e una selezione di saponi tra cui scegliere! Bravi! The dishes arrive fragrant to the nose and pleasing to the eye, finally confirming to be satisfying to the taste. The quantity is right, neither too little nor too much; on request the single portion will arrive already divided for 2 diners. The wine list is rich. The desserts are good and homemade. Il proprietario un sommelier molto appassionato e competente insieme allo chef ci ha guidato in un viaggio nei sapori della cucina tipica e fatto assaporare le produzioni vinicole del posto! Personale competente e moto professionale. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità dei prodotti. Se siete in zona non mancate di fargli visita! In Montefalco I found a delightful place, where to savor the typical Umbrian cuisine, while wandering around Italy with my wife (married at the end of October) we stumbled upon this inn near the center of Montefalco in a typical evening of Umbrian peasant cuisine, wine shop very well stocked with large selection of indigenous wines. The owner, a very passionate and competent sommelier together with the chef, guided us on a journey into the flavors of the typical cuisine and let us taste the local wine productions!
