Wonderful location located just above Palizzi Marina immersed in the green of the hill with a breathtaking view of the Ionian Sea where you can find peace and tranquility. As you arrive you are welcomed as one of the family, the staff are wonderful, professional and always ready to meet you for any need. The cuisine is something superlative, for breakfast homemade desserts and local products and dinner well, that is, you don't want to dine anywhere else, every evening a different menu all rigorously made in Calabria. There is a wide choice of wines produced by them Here you leave your heart, thank you for the wonderful experience.

We went to Agunì Agriturismo and Locanda to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary. We had a great time, the place is lovely, clean and with a breathtaking view of the Ionian sea. We ate divinely, local food, cooked with care and skill by chef Carlo. The guys who served us were kind, knowledgeable and very attentive. Marco, the owner is young but do not be fooled because he has a profession, great competence, desire to do and energy to sell. Then there is Rosanna, the wife that every chef would like and the mother that every manager should have: sunny, nice, tireless! Thanks again for the wonderful evening! We will be back soon. I state that my opinion is only on the restaurant, because I have not stayed in the structure and from what I have seen the place is fabulous. We had dinner a few nights ago, we were all families with children. Appetizers abundant with cold cuts and cheeses (and a few other things), only one first course (we were told that they would bring two, one of which is vegetarian, but nothing), second course of good meat. There was supposed to be dessert but when we asked we were told that the fridge was broken .. They brought a piece of watermelon each. The service is normal, nice boys and girls, and also the lady who is in the kitchen. Sore note: at the time of paying we were told the cost per adult and per child, but when we gave the money there was no money and they told us they were wrong and that they counted more adults than when we actually were, thus making us pay more. . except that if I'm wrong it is not the customer who has to answer, but the guy who takes care of making cash immediately got nervous raising his voice, just because we were trying to understand something .. Last thing I didn't like, none of the staff had masks. In short, for me they must improve the management in the relationship with the customer.

Winding curves surrounded by olive trees, white pines, prickly pears and vineyards will take you to a real corner of Paradise, located 400 meters above the sea level. As soon as you arrive, you will be rewarded by the road with the majesty of the breathtaking landscape of the palizzian hills that fling themselves on the Ionian Sea and with the friendliness of the staff: that hospitality typical of the South that follows the philosophy of the Greek tradition of which this magical place is intimately impregnated. The young, dynamic, cheerful staff is always at your complete disposal, for any need, curiosity or even just for a chat. Mamma Rosanna is the perfect innkeeper! She gives sly smiles to each of her guests and distinguishes her with a kindness that always makes you feel at home (together with the sweets she prepares for breakfast ?); the folkloristic chef Carlo, between one joke and another, masterfully prepares traditional dishes. Here you can in fact enjoy the authentic and ancient flavors of Calabria, from typical dishes to meats, cheeses, jams ... all strictly "home made", made as tradition dictates, by the wise yet very young hands of the true king of the castle, Marco. At just 21 she has expertise, knowledge and a LOT, LOTS of desire to do! Driven by a visceral love for this land, it is the example of Calabria being reborn ❤️. He will delight you with the stories of his products, his land, his family and will be able to give you information on the virtuous local realities to visit if you pass this way. Then he will enchant you by singing songs in dialect and playing the accordion: do not say that someone comes to the deep South and does not try to dance the tarantella! It is a beautiful showcase on authentic Calabria for those who do not know it and a balm for the heart for those who have already sewn it on. And when the music stops and the lights go out, enjoying their wines on the terrace, under a starry sky for which I do not have sufficient knowledge of words, you will make peace with the world. GO THERE!

If you want to unplug and revive the desire for nature that exists in each of us you cannot give up Aguni Lovely place cleaning da10 and praise food that fully reflects the Calabrian cuisine but you have to ask yourself if you love to try and risk new dishes or adapt to the mass with everyday food. But the most striking thing in Aguni is the front row seat in the view of the Ionian Sea that stands out at the end of two hills as if to create a picture in which you yourself make your own. The night sky seen its distance from the inhabited center and illuminated by stars that I would never have noticed in my house. And what about the rooms wifi tv etc .. but the thing that I love are the bathrooms in ours we showered in two ... In short, 3 fairytale nights that I would do again. The owners are young but at the same time they don't bother to give their best to make the inn work. So congratulations to martina, her family and her boyfriend who I am convinced will go very far. For my family they are promoted with flying colors and I think that I know where to go next year if we still decide Calabria.
