★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect escape into nature while only 15 minutes from some of the best spots Sicily has to offer. This place is an amazing insight into true Sicilian culture. The owners are a husband and wife and the hospitality really shines through in everything they do, especially the food. Breakfast is much better than most bnb and hotels around Italy but the dinner steals the show with the freshest ingredients sourced right from their own land. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great couple retreat or family experience with live animals and great scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place!! Beautiful location with the most wonderful view of Etna from the cabins, restaurant and pool. Super friendly atmosphere, great for kids and delicious home cooked Sicilian food at the restaurant. Filippo was the most helpful and generous host and made great recommendations for activities.

Just be warned it's quite remote and the internet and in room TV are a bit shoddy if these things are important to you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been to San Cataldo for the 2nd time, Never disappointed by the owner Filipo his wife rita and All the staff. Great food and breakfast, wide selection of fresh cakes and pastries from his wife rita and Fillipo makes you feel like home with his character.
Recommend a lot, Nice Chalets, Secure parking and best of all nice views on top of the mountains.
