I	Ilaria Cuccaro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Agriturismo a conduzione famigliare, immerso nei campi della Maremma toscana. Abbiamo soggiornato qui per 2 notti con il mio compagno e il nostro cagnolino. Molti altri agriturismi delle zone limitrofe non accettavano cani o prenotazioni per sole 2 notti. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, a nostro agio, in un ambiente rilassante e davvero caratteristico. L'agriturismo si raggiunge da una stradina che a breve verrà sistemata ma che per il momento risulta un po' dissestata. Abbiamo soggiornato nella dependance, un vero e proprio appartamento a cui non mancava nulla (consiglio solo di sostituire i cuscini del letto perché un po' scomodi). Siamo stati accolti dal proprietario che si è mostrato gentilissimo e disponibile, offrendoci un caffè e raccontandoci la storia del posto, e dai suoi 2 cagnoloni, Macchia e Kira, davvero dolci. In piena estate l'appartamento si è rivelato freschissimo, tanto che abbiamo dormito con le lenzuola. C'è anche una bellissima piscina biologica con fiori di loto e una carpa gigante. Posizione comoda per raggiungere in circa 30' Follonica, Baratti, Castiglione della Pescaia, Grosseto. Consiglio di approfittare della buonissima cucina dell'agriturismo, che propone piatti tipici della Toscana e anche rivisitati (pici, tortelli, fegatini, verdure dell'orto, confetture...). Family-run farmhouse, nestled in the fields of the Tuscan Maremma. We stayed here for 2 nights with my partner and our little dog. Many other farmhouses in the neighboring areas did not accept dogs or bookings for only 2 nights. We found ourselves very well, at ease, in a relaxing and truly characteristic environment. The farm can be reached by a small road that will soon be fixed but which for the moment is a bit bumpy. We stayed in the annex, a real apartment that lacked nothing (I only recommend replacing the bed pillows because they are a bit uncomfortable). We were greeted by the owner who was very kind and helpful, offering us a coffee and telling us the history of the place, and by his 2 dogs, Macchia and Kira, really sweet. In the height of summer the apartment turned out to be very fresh, so much so that we slept with the sheets. There is also a beautiful organic swimming pool with lotus flowers and a giant carp. Convenient location to reach in about 30 'Follonica, Baratti, Castiglione della Pescaia, Grosseto. I recommend taking advantage of the excellent cuisine of the farm, which offers typical dishes of Tuscany and also revisited (pici, tortelli, livers, vegetables from the garden, jams ...).

Per me la nota dolente è stata la cucina, che ho trovato lenta e terribilmente ordinaria. Nessuna esplosione di sapori, nessuna esaltazione del gusto, banale... Un desinare qualunque, praticamente come se mangiassi a casa tua. Non voglio essere frainteso, la qualità del cibo è ottima, l'esecuzione no. Quindi se devo partire da casa e spendere per mangiare come mangerei a casa mia... Boh, secondo me non ne vale la pena. Però ci ritornerò, magari l'ultima volta hanno avuto una brutta giornata. For now I give 3 stars, but I reserve the right to change the rating in the future ... The place is nice, clean, surrounded by nature. The staff is friendly and helpful. For me, the sore point was the cooking, which I found slow and terribly ordinary. No explosion of flavors, no exaltation of taste, banal ... Any dinner, practically as if you were eating at home. I don't want to be misunderstood, the quality of the food is great, the execution is not. So if I have to leave home and spend to eat as I would eat at home ... Dunno, in my opinion it's not worth it. But I'll be back, maybe the last time they had a bad day.

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo! Place immersed in the countryside, genuine and original dishes cooked respecting the peasant tradition, careful and confidential service by the owners who are always friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money!

Menzione d'onore meritano i fegatini: come si mangiano al Selvello non li mangerete da nessuna parte. Adding the hospitality of the owners to the kitchen of the cook as well as the owner, the result can only be the best place to eat Maremma cuisine in the whole Maremma. The livers deserve an honorable mention: as they are eaten at Selvello you will not eat them anywhere.
