Peccato che non ci siamo potuti fermare a cena ma sicuramente è da tornarci. Beautiful place, with attention to the smallest detail. The owners very kind and very helpful. Too bad we couldn't stop for dinner but it is definitely worth going back.

A beautiful farmhouse in stone with wood and antique iron finishes, clean, tidy, sanctified with attention to detail located in front of the Majella mountain a spectacular view, the kind and cordial managers attentive to the customer's needs. Donatella's cuisine is excellent all freshly prepared with their and local products km0.Giancarlo always ready to give directions on what to visit and explain the secrets of the mountain. Guaranteed relaxation. Highly recommended.
A	Anna De Ros on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo soggiornato due notti presso l'Agriturismo Il Portone. La struttura è davvero bella, ristrutturata secondo tradizione abruzzese. Camera e bagno spaziosi e confortevoli, ottimo livello di pulizia. La nostra camera era anche dotata di un bel terrazzo dal quale si godeva una meravigliosa vista sulle montagne. I gestori sono molto gentili e disponibili. Valori aggiunti: estrema tranquillità del luogo, cibi (colazione e cena) preparati con ingredienti prodotti direttamente dall'agriturismo. Unica annotazione: l'ultimo tratto di strada per arrivare all'Agriturismo è piuttosto impervio e stretto. We stayed two nights at the Agriturismo Il Portone. The structure is really beautiful, renovated according to the Abruzzo tradition. Spacious and comfortable room and bathroom, excellent cleanliness. Our room was also equipped with a beautiful terrace from which we enjoyed a wonderful view of the mountains. The managers are very kind and helpful. Added values: extreme tranquility of the place, food (breakfast and dinner) prepared with ingredients produced directly from the farm. The only remark: the last stretch of road to get to the farm is rather steep and narrow.

Proprietari sempre disponibili e attenti alle nostre esigenze. La camera era spaziosa dotata di tutti I comfort avevamo anche un balconcino con 2 sedie a sdraio da dove poter ammirare il panorama davvero suggestivo. Cibo di loro produzione di ottima qualità. La terrazzo dove fare colazione la mattina davvero splendida immersa nel verde. Simpaticissimi anche i cagnolini dei proprietari. Consigliatissimo! Pulizia top!?? We stayed at this farm towards the end of last month. Very nice and above all clean place. Owners always available and attentive to our needs. The room was spacious with all comforts we also had a balcony with 2 deck chairs from where you can admire the truly impressive panorama. Food of their production of excellent quality. The terrace where you can have breakfast in the morning is truly splendid surrounded by greenery. The owners' dogs are also very nice. Highly recommended! Top cleaning! ??

Very nice restored agriturismo which can serve some amazing dinner. The breakfast is a bit limited though. Don't be scared of the icebear that walks around. It is actually a very nice dog.

Next, you meet the host, who is incredibly nice and welcoming, providing helpful information on places to hike and visit around the area, along with restaurant recommendations. Then, the rooms; one-of-a-kind and perfectly comfortable. After a night's sleep that can only be described as idyllic, and totally quiet, you wake up to a breakfast spread that is fresh, tasty, and comprises everything you could want for a proper European breakfast. If you're ever in the area, make sure to book at least a night or two here. And if you're not in the area, go anyway!
