H	Ha R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beyond happy to have decided to stay here instead of a some beach hotel. We had the most beautiful time in this charming place with fresh breezy air and beyond friendly owners. First location: Tropea is within 20 min drive with the car, the same for the famous nearby beaches. I have to admit I was a bit worried from the street conditions but to our surprise it was an easy drive on well maintained provincial roads. 2. Room: classical antique furniture and new bathroom. Very comfortable. Fresh breeze so air conditioning was not needed. Cleanness 5/5 3. Food: made and studied with love and passion. The details of the food and grain processing are astonishing. Now drooling thinking about the breakfast with homemade bread and crostata 4.The owner Manuel and Signora Rita are beyond friendly, classy and warm people who made us feel like home. The dogs are very playful and sweet too. Bottomline recommended for nature escaper who are seeking peaceful atmosphere and tranquility to combine with the visit to touristy Tropea. We thank you for the beautiful memories.

The place is amazingly pretty, especially early in the morning and just before sunset. The degustazzione dinner that was offered to us for €40 pp was money well spent as the food was amazing. However, over the six nights, the room was never cleaned, nor the dustbin ever emptied (we went with a 15 month old baby who produces a lot of dirty nappies) new towels had to be asked for. Considering the culinary abilities offered in the evening lunch, breakfast was a bit lacking compared to other parts of italy that I have visited (Sicily, Rome and further north). Edit - Owner answers 11 months later with the same know it all attitude. I do feel the need to highlight that during our stay he requested that I leave a 5star review.....???
A	ABIGAIL PULLICINO on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 star rating for the hospitality and place. however, I do share his views. we spent nearly a week there and room was never cleaned. there was no misunderstanding as stated by you ... we were never asked if we would like our room to be cleaned in the first place. quite frankly for the price paid, one would have at least assume that one would be provided with fresh towels and a clean room everday (or at least empty the dustbins).

We loved very much the house architecture, the big yard and the 4 beautiful dogs. :) Hosts were kind, guided us to find a restaurant near to accomodation, gave us a lot of information, so we felt like home, or even better. My wife was very in love with the location and she dreams to come back there in the near future.. Negative: Breakfast should be more diversified..

Restaurants were booked for us, parking on the beach organized and even invited to eat with the family! I can only recommend this accommodation
