★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a very nice stay! The view over the lake was stunning! This place is surrounded by mountains, great places for hike!! The owner, Mauro, is very friendly and outgoing! Definitely recommended for a place to stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning views over the lake, relaxed atmosphere, good bar and restaurant, great hiking trails, friendly owner, affordable camping.
Soil was rocky to pitch our tent but doable with solid pegs.
It's surrounded by nature, so the nearest supermarket is in capitignano, 20 minutes and many a gairpin by car so plan ahead if you want to have groceries with you.
Overall highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have stayed here for three nights and couldn’t fault both the friendliness and hospitality we have received.
There is little formality when you arrive and the owner Marko speaks good English and has a very relaxed style.
We have just had a great meal for two with wine..... fresh bread toasted with oil, antipasti, two kinds of pasta, lamb kebabs chops and steak with potatoes and small home made cakes....all this for 50 Euro.
The owners have had a very busy weekend with a big group of people staying ( over60) They also had local people arriving for meals. Despite being clearly tired they still managed to provide excellent and friendly service .
This campsite is in a fabulous situation with panoramic views.
One word of warning if you have a camper don’t take the short cut route through Capitigano town to the campsite, you have to take the longer route passing Capitigano which takes another 20 km longer. The satnav shows the short route and it’s only suitable for cars.
Finally we would certainly recommend staying here for everything it offers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3 stars because great location, but camp ground was closed mid September with no info posted online (website / google) and no physical postings at the site either. Just showed up to closed doors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice small agrotourismo in a nice atmosphere with not too many people along. Starting point for some hikes, but just one trail leaves directly from here. The restaurant is very good. Don't miss it.
Just one thing: shelves or something in the shower would be... Usefull

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very refreshing summer camping area. We left Firenze with 33 degree and arrived here at refreshing 20. The view across the lake is marvellous and the dinner in the evening is very delicious. Antipasta, Bruschetta, lamb, pasta or steak. Meat is roosted over fire. One of the best remote camping grounds, but weekend (Saturday) is very crowded in summertimes. Camp area is very tidy. One hint. If it's possible take the eastern road to the camp ground. We took the western road and it was very challenging for our ford s-Max. Nothing much bigger than a ford galaxy will fit through the roads.
There are lots of nice hiking options and one small track (1:30h or so) starts right in front of the camping area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This camping was the highlight of our summer trip in Italy this year. The place is in a natural reserve and crazily beautiful. Owner Mauro is an exceptional host and the customized (celiac friendlu) food he put on our table was a fabulous mix of Southern Italian and mountain cuisine. Highly reccomendable.
