★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a hidden gem of Mercatale and San Casciano area. This is no ordinary Macelleria. The take-out dishes that this place offers are extraordinary and they change daily. The pasta al forno (lasagna) is to die for. This is a family run business (the old grandfather is still there), the wife Martha speaks english. We were living in a villa 5 minutes away, and we would go there daily. Get there early for takeout items, bring it back home and enjoy the best flavors that Tuscany has to offer.
