Sofia was Awesome- from communicating over e-mail before the free tour to sending us home with a bottle. Very passionate about her products and moreover about the Balsamic tradition in this part of Italy. You will leave with a lot of knowledge about the balsamic production, how to distinguish different types of Balsamic.

We did the balsamic vinegar, parmeggiano-reggiano, lambrusco tour with Sofia and everything was amazing. I purchased one of each of the vinegars and they are worth every penny. This tour was the best thing I did in Italy. So much love of food and knowledge of local products.

Such a lovely family who makes delicious balsamic vinegar. We booked a guided tour and we were welcomed warmly with coffee and pasticcini. Barbara took the time to show and to explain us how they make traditional balsamic vinegar. The highlight was the tastinf of four different balsamic vinegar and our son (20 months) also tasted and he loves it. Thank you Barbara for this experience. A place to remember and to come back.

We booked this balsamic experience combined with a Parm cheese tour as well. Both were fantastic! The farm is a working farm and puts out some amazing balsamic! Our guide was so knowledgeable and explained the process to us in perfect English. She is a language student so I can imagine she speaks many languages well!

Even though we showed up a bit last minute and were literally the only ones there, they still took the time to give us a very informative, passionate talk on how balsamic vinegar is made. It was truly enjoyable and the tasting was amazing! I would highly recommend it and hope I can one day visit again. They are in the process of opening a B&B so that can be interesting in the future, and they mention they also offer cooking classes.

We were so well hosted by the Malagoli family - they are so kind and generous. The tour was fascinating and we learned a great deal, and the tasting was superb - their product really is black gold, it was divine. Completely unlike any of the so-called balsamic I’ve tried in the UK, the Malagoli products are so rich and complex. As I said, the family are lovely and it felt more like visiting friends than going to visit a production facility! 100% recommend!
