Consigliatissimo. What can I say ... the attention to detail speaks for itself. All really exquisite, the owner very kind, the place very welcoming, ideal for couples. Highly recommended.

Both times I'd never been impressed by the food quality, feeling they want to put more efforts on the appearance than the substance. The first time I took the "antipasto a modo nostro"+ raw fish. Their idea is to make the traditional Sicilian antipasti with fish but the result is a total mess. A lot of things with different tastes, fish flavor completely hide, without understanding what I was eating. Honestly I would prefer less things but with a taste concept, instead of a big dish with many tastes completely no coordinated. I totally would suggest simple fish fillets with good oil and lemon. Sicily is knew for the good flavors of the single things, that many times are forget! The second time I took the "vitello tonnato with string beans". Between the beans I found a piece of green plastic. It seemed a little Lego, better I would say the stopper of something. With courteousness we called the service putting the attention on the plastic piece found. The girl went inside without being able to face up the situation. Got the guidelines by the direction, she came back to take the dish. We refused it as the intention was just to put the attention on the fact and not to eat more. We were expecting at least they were offering a liquor or not to count the dish, since in other situations the restaurant could risk the closure. We just had 3€ off. I think they want to imitate starred chefs attracting a certain kind of clientele, without being able to face it. Next time I would stop to other near restaurants, certain they are able to face with high food quality and good service.

Each appetizer had its own character, plated with intimate details, a pickled fennel or onion, a marmalade tomato, perfectly square polenta, creatively shaped a fish pate… Etc. etc.… Whoever is cooking put so much love and creativity in this food. I’m not sure I’ve ever eaten anything like it. It’s both delicious a d beautiful. The service is friendly and attentive, the wine is local and affordable.
