S	Salvatore Santacroce on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale situato nel centro di Ispica accanto alla piazza principale. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto cirica, una calamarata all'astice e cavatelli alla norma. L'antipasto buono, soprattutto la parmigiana e le polpettine di neonata: le alici sono arrivate un po' fredde. La calamarata con l'astice buonissima e assolutamente da provare; stesso discorso per i cavatelli, davvero deliziosi. Il cannolo buono e per nulla stucchevole. Anche il pane che ci è stato servito davvero buono. Alessio in sala e sua moglie in cucina gestiscono l'intera attività ed è a loro che va il nostro plauso per averci fatto sentire come a casa: bravi! Local located in the center of Ispica next to the main square. We ordered a cirica appetizer, a calamarata with lobster and cavatelli alla norma. The good appetizer, especially the parmigiana and the baby girl meatballs: the anchovies arrived a bit cold. The calamarata with lobster very good and absolutely to try; the same goes for cavatelli, really delicious. The cannoli is good and not at all cloying. The bread that was served to us was also really good. Alessio in the dining room and his wife in the kitchen manage the entire business and our applause goes to them for making us feel at home: good!

Non abbiamo preso ne primo ne secondo (anche se all'apparenza dovevano essere buoni). 3 ??? perché: - servizio: a parte simpatica e intraprendenza del proprietario, la ragazza impacciata e non presente (3 ???) - qualità: buona produzione artigianale e prodotti locali (4 ????) - prezzo: eccessivo per un antipasto scarno sicuramente non per 2 persone e poche verdure grigliate il tutto al minimo come essenzialità (1 ?) We took neither first nor second (even if apparently they had to be good). 3 ??? because: - service: apart from the owner's sympathetic and resourcefulness, the girl clumsy and not present (3 ???) - quality: good artisan production and local products (4 ????) - price: excessive for a lean appetizer, certainly not for 2 people and a few grilled vegetables, all at a minimum as essential (1 ?) You make the average a bit rounded up.

Non abbiamo potuto prendere il caffè perché la macchinetta si era rotta ma il proprietario si è scusato offrendoci un amaro a base di carrube e erbe molto buono. Consigliato!! The owner's friendliness and courtesy certainly play in favor of this restaurant in the historic center of Ispica. The food is good, homemade and typical Sicilian. We couldn't get coffee because the machine broke but the owner apologized and offered us a very good carob and herb based amaro. Recommended!!

We had a cirica appetizer (very good for 2 pax) and a mixed grill. House wine. Don't miss the artisanal sorbet: delicious.

Spicchi di patate novelle speziate con la buccia! Favolose. 37€ in due. Siamo stati benissimo! Discovering the beautiful city of Ispica, after the advice of people met by chance, we stopped for lunch at MAIDDA. Good choice! Very helpful owner! We took cavatelli alla Norma ... exceptional sauce! Grilled swordfish ... very fresh! French fries ... beware, they are not the normal ones! Spiced new potato wedges with peel! Fabulous. € 37 for two. We had a great time!

Ampia scelta con possibilità di piatti fuori menu. Dietro questo posto si cela la gentilezza e simpatia dei proprietari, divisi tra sala (lui) e cucina (lei), che rendono unica ad Ispica questa trattoria, dai sapori genuini ed originali. Prodotti di qualità. Prezzi coerenti con ciò che si mangia, sia a livello di qualità che quantità. Il sudore e l'impegno dietro questa attività si vede eccome, ed è per questo che gente come loro, generosa e dedita al lavoro, va premiata, pubblicizzata e lodata. Auguro il meglio sia personalmente che professionalmente ad entrambi, se lo meritano. Ed a chi legge la recensione... Simpaticissimi i gestori , ragazzi giovani e con tanta voglia di fare. Abbiamo assaggiato antipasti misti ( una marmellata di pomodori di loro produzione divina) ottimi, vino locale e grigliata mista gustosa e morbida... Non stucchevole e secca come spesso accade... Infine cannolo di ricotta 10e lode. Consigliatissimo anche per rosticceria tipica siciliana e per piatti di cucina della tradizione... Che dire... Ottima scoperta!!!
