Got it by chance and regretted it! We waited 2 and a half hours to eat 3 appetizers and 3 fried calamari. The low quality ham and melon appetizers, the fries were salty and the un-edible squid ... of rubber! At the end of the meal I pay x to ask for an invoice, the girl at the checkout looks at me in disbelief and replies that she has not bought the invoice note, my request for explanations tells me that if I returned the next day she would buy it ... I preferred to leave to lose and after having paid I was liquidated with a "mo we miss even that we have to make the bills here!" .... All bad, not recommended ...

Characteristic place and helpful and friendly staff, I arrived late in the evening and had a quick dinner with delicious and abundant dishes, highly recommended!

A tiny restaurant as soon as you enter the pedestrian area of ​​the center of Diamante, with the tables all in the street (alleyway), very suggestive and well cared for "the furniture" of the tables, all have an intimate and quite romantic aspect. Fortunately I sat down without first reading the negative reviews which I find (regarding my experience in question) absolutely unfounded. The staff was helpful and fast, ok maybe they weren't smiling but with 30 degrees in the evening and having to work maybe even I wouldn't smile, the kitchen was very careful to respect the delivery times of the dishes even though we had requested different courses. The food was cooked very well, the dishes were tasty and plentiful, the price in line with the quality. I highly recommend it.

Quaint place, very nice staff. Average fried fish, nothing exceptional. It should be noted that the staff walks around the premises without a mask.

I share my experience on this place, because from some positive reviews I don't understand if they are 'piloted' or if the problem is linked to disorganization in the high season. Let's proceed, to you the arduous sentence, to me only the extreme disappointment and the high bill. Yesterday, August 20, I came to this place for lunch despite knowing others. I stop for the time and for the heat. The tactical position right at the beginning of the center I know of tourist, but we are in Calabria, you will definitely eat well. I sit with whoever accompanies me and after a minute the waitress arrives, quite annoyed, asking us to order. But we never received the menu, and obviously there was no QR code to download it from. Another round another race: bring the menu and come back after two minutes. Let's start with the drinks: I ask for a draft beer and it was finished. Okay, I say, bring me a 33 beer (the small one). Finished. He only had 66 tape ... I'll take that and amen. Is it possible in the middle of August not to have not only the tap (he says they had just finished the keg) but not even a minimum choice of bottles? Let's proceed with the order: to keep ourselves light we decide to consume only three seafood appetizers (you will see the photo), with a modest price of € 15. Price that I gladly pay in restaurants on the coast or even in the city, if the appetizer is worthy of the name. Here comes a fabulous plate of ... supermarket stuff. Aside from the octopus (which was the only thing in appearance worthy of being on the plate), we have four mussels from the worst breeding, two shrimps that were probably mistreated as children, as they weren't even grown, a mulino bianco bruschetta (I'm not kidding) with a little tomato on top, a crab claw (now, in a self-respecting seafood appetizer what does the Chinese crab claw do with it?), three fried onion rings (same speech as the claw) , two slices of Despar smoked salmon. Now, I not only eat, but also cook: the appetizer was made only from frozen stuff. Given the quantities at the restaurant (the numbers are not random), it will have cost € 4, how do you sell it 15? Especially in a famous seaside resort, how dare you present such a dish? I should have gotten up shouting and left without paying anything. Having said that, at a certain point, without asking for anything, the waitress brings us the bill. Without even asking ourselves if we wanted a coffee or an amaro. Maybe he was aware of the scam they were feeding us? One thing is certain: I will never go there again. In Diamante you will find better, much better.

A wonderful experience: competent staff, excellent seafood and a splendid location! I tried spaghetti with clams and mussels, fried fish with salad and, finally, watermelon (as specified by the menu of the day) and I enjoyed everything. Highly recommended for both passing tourists and locals!

Very bad ... Paccheri excellent, but really poor frying, cutlet the frozen one at the supermarket ... There is an excellent fixed menu at a very low price (practically the cost of paccheri only), too bad that there is no reference to it in the menu and even the waitress does not suggest. When I hear people order this set menu, I ask where it is mentioned and in fact there is a blackboard at the entrance that, distracted by the children, I have not seen. At this point I suggest to insert on the menu the fact that there is a fixed menu, they reply that there is a blackboard, I repeat to them to at least indicate the fact that there is a fixed menu also on the card (only the wording that it exists, they must not rewrite it every day), but it is useless ... okay, I was wrong that I did not see the blackboard ... too bad that the food was inedible (apart from paccheri that were very good), part of the table went to the bathroom and they immediately I started clearing away even the drinks that are practically full, and in the end they ask me "can I clear away?", I answer "really no" but it didn't help ... I strongly advise against!
