★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most pleasant B&Bs we have ever stayed in.
It is a bit out of town, but that puts it straight in the centre of the valley of temples within easy walk of both archeology museum and the site itself. (And particularly easy walk from otherwise well hidden Temple of Vulcan that is not a part of the main site).
Family running the B&B was amazingly friendly and hospitable, accommodation was comfortable, breakfast tasty and views out of this world.
I could not recommend this place enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh my God, where do I even start to describe how amazing this place is! Let's start with location, as you're looking onto the valley of temples from their terrace (and technically can even walk into the park). The Villa itself is almost 200 years old, but the rooms and facilities are new and modern. The premise is decorated like a movie set, with chickens, ducks, parrots and a sheep (fenced) and a peacock (free-roaming). Then the hospitality! You can get a bottle of wine from the fridge yourself, pay as much as you like... The family then also organizes an evening dinner for the guests, again, you pay as you see fit... There's a pool! There's a view! There's a swing! Did I mention the peacock? Honestly I regret we only spend one night here....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I give Villa San Marco 6 ?. Great place, incredible location, it actually is into the territory of the Temples Valley. Probably my best breakfast. Staff is great. Go and visit this magic place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villa San Marco is in a stunning position, with breath-taking views of the Valley of the Temples and the owners are lovely. This is where the positives end... if you like animals (lots and lots and lots of them), animals poo (again lots and lots of that everywhere), saggy mattresses, sun-like neon lights in the bedrooms, dated and tatty decor (embroidered toilet rolls holder hanging from the wall anyone?) and micro-oven eggs for breakfast.. well this is the place for you! We were glad we stayed just one night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great place! Located near Agrigento with a view on the temples. But more than this, such a nice family that manages this B&B. We have traveled the tour of Sicily, but this was by far our best experience. And let's not forget the animals that live there, especially Tito the dog... this little guy stole my heart :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to start… I know, BREAKFAST. I think this has to be the highlight for any non-Italian traveler. A hearty spread of savory and sweet, with different local touches each day. The views are spectacular. The grounds are rustic with free-roaming peacocks. Hospitality and communication were great. If I could, I’d remove a half star for the beds… an upgrade there would make this place a perfect paradise.
