★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trainstation is a bit of a hike up. Make sure you get your tickets in town as there is no machine or booth to purchase them at the station. Alternatively you can buy them on board but will cost 5Euro extra per ticket. Pro tip: If you are staying in Vietri, you can get to Naples/Pompeii without having to go back to Salerno.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a board of departures/arrivals and some benches. Only two platforms: 1. Naples direction; 2. Salerno final stop. Accessible, convenient and close to the city centre. Car parking outside the station and coffe shops in 500-700 steps.
