★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 stars only because the food was delicious. In tems of service and organization - 1 star. Today we stopped for lunch. Where do I start - a hair in the glass, and also on the cheese cup, two customers went out and were standing right next to our table in the patio smoking, no comments from the staff. The food arrived quickly. The menu is well priced, but watch out for things outside the menu. The waiter suggested we order for the kids spaghetti pomodori, which were not on the menu, but turned out that 2 kids portions spaghetti were €20. Altogheter - good food but disappointing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommend by our Airbnb host and is in walking distance of our rental. Our family is from this local area and we are here researching our family history. The service was excellent and food and wine delicious. Seafood is the specialty. My sister and I chose the grilled tuna, cooked to perfection. The best meal since arriving in Italy 10 days ago. We are fussy about Italian food as we were raised with only the best Italian food. Although our Italian is limited we were treated with respect and kindness. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This trattoria outside of Lucca, is another gem of Tuscany, the service fabulous, as for the fish the choice absolutely brilliant, so tasty, and so very difficult to choose, we eventually settled for sharing the piccolo crudités, ( oyster, sepia, raw tuna, fish,) then mussels, and prawn risotto, finally grilled Tuna with herbs and potatoes, all washed down with prosecco, finishing with coffee couldn't quite manage a dessert but 2.5hrs of a perfect lunch, good food excellent company and brilliant atmosphere, Very highly recommended for a special lunch.

We enjoyed our Saturday dinner with excellent tiramisu at the end.
We will definitely return there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered there pasta and risotto which were delicious and raised our hopes up. For the main course we both took seabass and we were informed that in this case we can share a big fish between each other. I expected a fish of a solid size, however, it was a tiny fish divided into half. I just got the tip of it for the price of full fish. For 18 euro for main course per person I expected a bit more that a tiny piece of fish, that should in fact be served just one per person, 2 slices of aubergine and 3 slices of zucchini. Thus although it could be a good experience, the feeling of the rip off ruined it completely.
Very friendly service though!
