The courtesy and knowledge of the owner is a further value to complete the customer experience. Totally recommended to spend the night in the one-room B&B inside the tower and have dinner inside as well, cuddled by the tasteful dishes prepared for you only by the chef. Breakfast in the old-fashioned winner will astonish you for the quality in each detail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Of the twenty or so medieval towers left in Bologna - keeping in mind that their number might have peaked at around 100 - Torre dei Prendiparte, AKA Torre Coronata, is one of the most attractive. It is possible to arrange to stay at the tower, where there are 11 levels and a panoramic roof to discover.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think there is the best view in Bologna. The cost is 5 euro to climb every Sunday. It is a little bit hard due to small stair. I like also the explanation from the guide there from "Succede solo a Bologna" association. The owner is very knowledgeble and sometimes is there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although it is the second highest tower in Bologna, the city guides do not promote it as much as the well known Two Towers. 300 very steep steps and 11 levels separate you from a magnificent 360o view of Bologna. The Prendiparte Tower is super easy to access, and a great cardio for a morning climb! ;)
The people operating the tour are super friendly and willing to introduce you to Bologna’s skyline introducing you from the top of the Tower to everything that Bologna offers you once you climb down!
A must see!
