★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo negozio di alimentari sta aperto dal 1970 ma la famiglia possedeva già un negozio in pignasecca negli ultimi dell'800'. Qualche mese fa, una rapina ha fatto si che il proprietario del negozio, cardiopatico, morisse d'infarto. Il negozio è stato riaperto dai familiari che attualmente lo gestiscono. Forse leggerete su google che è "chiuso definitivamente", ma non è così. Le mie foto scattate oggi sono lì a dimostrarlo. Se vi trovate a prendere la cumana, date un'occhiata al negozio: è fornito di prodotti impossibili da trovare altrove, specie per chi è interessato alle spezie napoletane "tradizionali" (mi sembra che abbiano un pepe molto particolare che avrete difficoltà a trovare altrove, ma non ne sono sicurissimo). I prezzi sono più che ottimi, non è un'attività per turisti ma un negozio per le persone del quartiere. I familiari sono disponibili tanto quanto l'ex proprietario. Vi consiglio vivamente di farci un giro
This grocery store has been open since 1970 but the family already owned a pignasecca shop in the last half of the 19th century. A few months ago, a robbery meant that the cardiopathic shop owner died of a heart attack. The shop has been reopened by family members who are currently managing it. Perhaps you will read on google that it is "permanently closed", but it is not. My photos taken today are there to prove it. If you find yourself taking the cumana, take a look at the shop: it is equipped with products that are impossible to find elsewhere, especially for those interested in "traditional" Neapolitan spices (I think they have a very particular pepper that you will have difficulty finding elsewhere , but I'm not quite sure). The prices are more than excellent, it is not a tourist activity but a shop for the people of the neighborhood. Family members are as available as the former owner.
