★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When leaving the city centre, do not pay at the escalator but rather pay at the parkade 1 level down. I paid at the escalator but by the time I sauntered and got into my car, it expired and wouldn't let me out. Had to go back and pay more!!! $$

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beh, not bad. It's 2 euros per hour. Has also a garage. Close to the parking you can find an escalator which brings you to, almost, the center of Siena. It's hilly willy ☺️.
You cannot really park for free in Siena, and in August it's overcrowded, full of residents and tourists. I guess that residents have 3 cars per family.
