★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting content. Presentation is poor, however. I read Italian, but if you don't, expect to be lost. What little English is there is a poor enough translation of the Italian signs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I expected more about a Middle ages museum in Rome. I liked the collection of stones and it just like 6 halls, less than 1 hour to see all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum, located in a spacious former hotel, houses a collection of medieval art, including jewelry, tapestries and sculptures. From March the 1st to mi-July 2018, it is closed for renovation works. About Musee de Cluny - Musee National du Moyen Ag

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There aren’t many museums about Rome after the fall of the Roman Empire. This is Italy‘s only museum to cover this period. It is empty of anypne, which is refreshing compared with the rest of Rome but the delights of this museum are slight and unless you are conversant with Italian, its going to savour an anticlimax.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even if you have no idea about archeology when you are going to see the opus sectile that was found in Ostia Antica you will be amazed. It's a must see place in Rome in my opinion. Every time I walk nearby it I need to enter to see it again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small but decent museum. Has some interesting exhibits. However, the exhibit labelling is quite poor. There is little English labelling (fair enough, we're in Italy), but the Italian labelling is sometimes very brief and inadequately detailed. The rooms are very hot, there appears to be no aircon. Anyway, worth a visit. I particularly enjoyed the coptic textiles collection (they are in a separate, glassed off room, don't miss them!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small museum, very decent. entrance is rather tricky to find, but the buildings are impressive. Take some time to breathe in the imposing style. The advantage of the ticket is (correct me if I'm wrong) that you could visit multiple museums with it. Ask for more info, there is also some prehistoric museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even a massive history geek like me found it way underwhelming. It's a few nice pieces of the Lombords.
€10 for the tickets getz you access to 3 museums. I also did the "prehistory" museum where most of the exhibit were only a couple of hundred years old.
Almost all Italian, very little English. No audio guide.
Very underwhelming.
