Rigolo

Since we were looking for Milanese/Italian cuisine, we decided to go to this place based on the reviews. The place is very welcoming and charming , tasteful decoration, very nice staff and friendly owner. We were not disappointed by the food, the home made gnocchi, the parmigiana and the cotoletta were absolutely amazing ! The pasta with vongole and the testaroli al pesto had too much oil and salt. We were surprised to find the wine already opened , and that the English menu is actually different from the Italian one. The cotoletta is only in the english one, and the Italian has a broader choice (maialino cotto a bassa temperatura and cinghiale were not in the english menu ). Price for 4 people with 2 courses each and two bottles of nebbiolo wine : 230 (rather pricy but aligned with Milano city center)

Nice food and interesting decor. A bit pricey for what it offers.

Overpriced and overrated food and average service. The food was salty and the manager or owner didn't care. Cover charge of €5pp if you're not local, not worth it.

Great place! The restaurant is celebrating 60 years and it seems to be the choice for many locals! Everything we tried was great! Highly recommend this place.

Really nice traditional restaurant. Some dishes are super nice. Some are acceptable but not impressive. Friendly and really helpful service.

Very milanese place. Food is good (not great) but they try too hard on the decoration side which makes it a bit too tourist like. Our server was borderline rude but overall with great company you spend a nice time there

My favourite restaurant in Milan for traditional dishes and reinvented classic Italian! Let the owner tell you about the selection and you will never be let down. I keep coming back!
