A little gem. Buy the 4 Museo visit ticket (as others have rightly suggested) you won’t regret it. If you want a break from the queues this will do nicely. Just at the end off piazza Navona a nice mix of Roman, Medieval and Renaissance artefacts housed in a beautiful palazzo with stunning original features on show. The Museo tells a Roman story.

Huge collection of Roman sculptures, the biggest I've ever seen. It also has Roman copies of Greek sculptures and modern sculptures with only some parts remaining from the Roman period. Everything is well marked and explained. Interesting (but not too big) collection of everyday Roman objects. The palace itself is also quite interesting. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it is overpriced, 10 euros is a bit too much, but it is a museum worth visiting.

Fabulous collection of beautiful objects from etruscan settlements. Great signage to explain the objects in help understand the culture. After seeing the major sights in Rome this would be a gem of a museum to visit.

The museum itself was very nice however the person at the desk was really rude and ignorant. I showed him the combined ticket that I paid with the Roma pass. He said I cannot get in even after I presented the ticket!! His stupid reason was that the price in the ticket is zero (what a moron... this is Roma Psss 101). First of all, he should know how Roma Pass works and how combined ticket pricing works, given his job. Second of all, don't yell at customers and better change that nasty attitude.. Maybe he was upset that somebody showed up while he was smoking outside.

Very quiet with a few glorious and notable sculptures. Well worth your time especially as ticket for.Massimo and the Terms and cryto balbi include altemps. A guide would be beneficial.

The pieces in the museum are nice, location is good also, easy to get in and out. Staff however is terrible. Not just because of hypocrisy. YOU'RE PREACHING PEOPLE ABOUT COVID AND NOT FOLLOWING RULES YOURSELF? See photos for reference. This would have been 5 stars if all of those guides / visitor experience staff actually worked.

Absolutely loved this incredibly underrated museum, not only for the beautiful sculptures, but also the architecture and the fact that it was super quiet. There are detailed explanations next to the pieces which is also great. Definitely recommend!
