★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nella pittoresca piazza Bellini, tra la statua del celebre compositore e i tavolini colorati dei bar circostanti, si apre un tratto delle mura greche dell'antica Neapolis. Probabilmente facevano parte di una torre annessa ad un porta che apriva sull'attuale via dei Tribunali. Il piano di calpestio è più basso di circa tre metri rispetto alla piazza, a testimonianza della stratificazione che caratterizza l'odierna Napoli!
In the picturesque Piazza Bellini, between the statue of the famous composer and the colorful tables of the surrounding bars, a stretch of the Greek walls of ancient Neapolis opens up. They were probably part of a tower attached to a door that opened onto the current Via dei Tribunali. The floor is about three meters lower than the square, reflecting the stratification that characterizes today's Naples!
