We hebben deze op de terugreis bezocht van onze rondwandeling van Kasern naar de Lenkjöchlhütte en weer terug, zodoende zijn we eerst door het Windtal gekomen, toen bij de Lenkjöchlhütte aangekomen waarna we het Röttal zijn ingegaan waar aan het eind van het prachtige dal met het meanderende riviertje deze alm lag. Very idyllically situated alm. We visited it on the return journey from our circular walk from Kasern to the Lenkjöchlhütte and back again, so we first passed through the Windtal, then arrived at the Lenkjöchlhütte after which we entered the Röttal where at the end of the beautiful valley with the meandering river this alm lay.

Una vera malga di montagna: non ristrutturata, odore di stalla e di montagna, posizionata in una cornice naturale meravigliosa tra montagne, pascoli e torrenti. I gestori producono il loro burro che vendono agli ospiti (a prezzi fuori mercato, insomma un vero affare) e che vi assicuro è qualcosa di unico e il cibo offerto in maniera spartana ma a prezzi modici è di ottima qualità. Un posto da visitare anche per la bella e discretamente impegnativa salita da Casere dove è possibile anche scoprire la storia mineraria della zona. What to say? A real mountain hut: not renovated, the smell of a stable and mountain, located in a wonderful natural setting between mountains, pastures and streams. The managers produce their own butter which they sell to guests (at prices out of the market, in short, a real bargain) and which I assure you is something unique and the food offered in a spartan way but at reasonable prices is of excellent quality. A place to visit also for the beautiful and fairly demanding climb from Casere where it is also possible to discover the mining history of the area.
V	Vecchio Suono on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2118mt. Per gli amanti delle cose vere e genuine ad ogni costo, questa è la meta giusta per voi. Il sentiero consta di due ore di imprecazioni in salita, ma è estremamente affascinante e pieno di storia e riferimenti ai minatori del Predoi, che io definirei oggi dei veri eroi. Tornando alla Malga, il posto è letteralmente magico. Fuori dal tempo. L'ultimo tratto di passeggiata è meraviglioso, facile rilassante e commovente, che si conclude regalandovi un'immagine meravigliosa della valle Rossa. Nella Malga è possibile acquistare formaggio grigio e burro artigianali...oltre che mangiare qualche paitto tipico ma molto rustico. In sintesi, un posto da non perdere perchè trattasi di rarità, e non si sa quanto potrà durare. Oltre la Malga Rossa è possibile dirigersi verso il Giogo Lungo. Ma questo è un altro film. 2118mt. For lovers of true and genuine things at any cost, this is the right destination for you. The trail consists of two hours of swearing uphill, but it is extremely fascinating and full of history and references to the miners of the Predoi, who I would define today as true heroes. Returning to the Malga, the place is literally magical. Out of time. The last stretch of the walk is wonderful, easy, relaxing and moving, which ends giving you a wonderful image of the Red Valley. In the Malga it is possible to buy artisan gray cheese and butter ... as well as eat some typical but very rustic meals. In summary, a place not to be missed because it is a rarity, and it is not known how long it will last. Beyond the Malga Rossa it is possible to head towards the Giogo Lungo. But this is another movie.

Malga meravigliosa che esprime al meglio gli ideali di rusticità, incontaminazione e soprattutto accoglienza. Da qui si possono raggiungere le più alte vette delle Dolomiti o semplicemente ci si può fermare a gustare dell'ottimo latte prodotto in casa accompagnato da un idilliaco Kaisershmarn. If you are looking for a refuge like they used to be, you are in the right place. Wonderful hut that best expresses the ideals of rusticity, uncontamination and above all hospitality. From here you can reach the highest peaks of the Dolomites or simply stop and enjoy excellent homemade milk accompanied by an idyllic Kaisershmarn.

Fermarsi non fosse altro per assaggiare il latte. Nelle belle giornate estive la torbiera è invasa da trekker che assaporano la quiete del posto, magari con i piedi a bagno sulle gelide acque del Rötbach. Magical place on the edge of the peat bog where the tradition of milk processing is preserved with the production of cheeses, butter and the renowned ricotta. Stopping if only to taste the milk. On fine summer days the peat bog is invaded by trekkers who savor the quiet of the place, perhaps with their feet soaked in the icy waters of the Rötbach.
